GO.

Join us as we GO in obedience to the Lord, for “Thus says the LORD of hosts,
Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not
oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none
of you devise evil against another in your heart.” (Zechariah 7:9-10 ESV)

Our GO ministry provides opportunity for those in the Clearwater fellowship
to do whatever it takes, at any cost to themselves, to allow others to make
much of Jesus. This ministry lives out the love of Christ in service to the
poor, the sojourner, the widow, and the orphan. Practical areas of this
ministry include:

McMillon Gardens (Poor) – “Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward
your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.” (Deut 15:11)
Join us as we get to know and serve families and individuals living in this
West End apartment complex through community events, relationship building,
Bible study, and other various activities.

International Students (Sojourner) – “Love the sojourner, therefore, for you
were sojourners in the land of Egypt.” Deut 10:19. Join us as we seek to
love international students who are sojourners here in this land. We strive
to show hospitality through monthly shopping trips, game nights, life
groups, and friendships.

Golden Living (Widows)- Display religion that is pure and undefiled before
God by visiting widows in their affliction. Join us as we visit residents
at Golden Living Center. Opportunities to serve include calling weekly
Bingo games, room visits, relationship building, and any other way you would
like to serve.

Foster Care (Orphans) – We praise God that He is a Father to the fatherless.
Join us as we “defend the cause of the weak and fatherless” (Ps 82:3) by
showing Christ’s love to orphans and foster care children. Opportunities to
love include becoming foster care parents, becoming a mentor to foster care
children, visiting orphans at children’s homes in the surrounding
communities, serving the foster care parents in our congregation, and
participating in other various events throughout the year.

Clearwater Community Church invites you to join us as we GO in obedience to
the Lord, with the purpose of making disciples of all peoples, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that He has commanded.
